I Am

Top
Backstory

Verse:
Here I stand, woman, before you.
Just as human.
Just as free.
You will not dismiss me! Chorus:
I am a daughter of Luna.
I am a sister of Kali.
I am the gentle zephyr.
I am the raging tsunami.

Verse:
Don’t look at my gender and yank opportunity,
my hair does not prevent me from contemplating Neitchze.

Chorus:
I am a daughter of Luna.
I am a sister of Kali.
I am the gentle zephyr.
I am the raging tsunami.

Verse:
Don’t look down on me,
if I cast a tear in pain,
how can you judge me,
you don’t even know my name.

Chorus:
I am a daughter of Luna.
I am a sister of Kali.
I am the gentle zephyr.
I am the raging tsunami.

Verse:
Don’t you see, they don’t like me?
Have you ever asked them why?
How can you stay so ignorant believing all their lies?

Chorus:
I am a daughter of Luna.
I am a sister of Kali.
I am the gentle zephyr.
I am the raging tsunami.

Verse:
I am, I am, I AM

Seal of Baphomet

Top
Backstory

Seal of Baphomet upon my throat.
Sacred sound swirl as I emote.
Songs of worship to the pagan realm.
I am the ship and my heart’s at the healm.

Pagan Man

Top
Backstory

Oh pagan man, I hear the Goddess lost in your vocal tone.
You are on the path, yet you say you walk alone.
There were nine women killed for the right to call the Earth your own.
You are on the path yet you say you walk alone.
There is a hilltop decked with a great stone.
Rhannanock calls you home.
Unara calls you home.

Oh pagan man, I hear the Goddess lost in your vocal tone.
You are on the path, yet you say you walk alone.
There were nine million women killed for the right to call the Earth your own.
You are on the path, yet you say you walk alone.
There is a hilltop decked with a great stone.
Shreeovna calls you home.
Ayush calls you home.

There stands in a circle round, your family lost-and found.
You are on the path, yet you say you walk alone.
Laurelin calls you home.
Laurelin calls you home.

Imbolg Morn

Top
Backstory

On this blessed Imbolg morn, when my soul is newly formed, I light a flame for blessings true.
Today I light a flame for you.

On a candle newly blessed, in a spell for friendship dressed, lit in honor of Brigid’s name.
Kindly for me, do the same.
When our candle flames do shine, I am your friend and you are mine.
Dance with me to fire light, if not for always, for tonight.
Dance with me to fire light, if not for always, for tonight.

Wicker Man

Top
Backstory

Oh woe is a wicker man six feet tall.
No grand lord is he at all.
So we yell to the men making the Wicker Man stand.
Give him some height, give him some height !!
For we burn the Wicker Man tonight.

Oh woe is a Wicker Man twelve feet tall.
Swaying in the breeze at fall.
So we yell to the men making the Wicker Man stand.
Keep him upright, keep him upright!
For we burn the Wicker Man tonight.

Oh woe is a Wicker Man standing tall.
Filled with our dreams and calls.
So we yell to the men making the Wicker Man stand.
Give us a light, give us a light!
For we burn the Wicker Man tonight. Burn, burn, burn as we pray.
Take all our dreams as you flame away.
You have the power of dreams to transform.
We’ll praise you again when you’re reborn.

Call at Hallow's Eve

Top
Backstory

At this gravesite of my kin, I light this flame.
T
he year begins.
I call my bloodline in the ground.
Singing their bones, coffin bound.
Please hallowed specters, in the night, the veil is thin now follow my light.
Oh sacred mothers, fathers too, I seek your wisdom.
I seek your truths.
I beat a drum to my heartbeat. the words you ‘ve taught me I repeat .
I stand before you able to see.
The supper dumb I've set for thee.
The night is long now.
Come on home.
My door is open you need not roam.
My ears keen now, my lips are sealed, ready to learn secrets revealed.
When repast is at its end, the other world claims you again.
I will see thee in one years time.
I’ll beat the drum and speak the rhyme.
Until then we’ll merry part, every my kindred ever my heart.

Appalachian Consolation

Backstory

Verse:
All energy wasted as I hurry along.
No rhyme or reason.
I struggle for calm.
From deep in my soul her names cry forth and calm me in chaos of all shape and source.

Chorus:
And my s
pirit is lifted my body feels light.
I’m eased of my troubles on a full moon night.
My cares are all gone now for She has them all.
And I am made
whole when her sweet names I call.

Verse:
Raising my children on the pagan path,
leading by example,
but perfection I lack.
But deep in my heart the Lord’s love is so strong.
When I call his names his strength is my own.

Chorus:
And my spirit is lifted my body feels light.
I ‘m eased of my troubles in the full sun light.
My cares are all gone now for he has them all.
And I am made whole when his sweet names I call.

Verse:
When my days are but numbered and I face my end,
fear has no place for the Gods are my friends.
For years of good service, when they placed their calls,
I ‘m given the Summerland where no rain shall fall.

Chorus:
And my spirit is lifted no body for pain.
I’m eased of my woes’ till I’m born again.
My lives will be many of this I know.
I call their names and it will mote be so.

Sol

Top
Backstory

It’s time to turn the wheel.
It’s time to turn the wheel.
It’s time to turn the wheel of the year.

It’s time to wipe her tear.
It’s time to wipe her tear.
It’s time to wipe her birthing tear.

Come my friends and wait with me a while as the Lady gives birth to her son.
And when she cries her silver tear in pain, she will give her son a name.
She will call him Sol.
Sol we call to thee.

Come bring your golden rays of day to light our way.
The Moon bears a son.
The Moon bears the Sun.
The night gives reign to the day.

The Moon bears the Sun.
The Moon bears the Sun.
The night gives reign to the day.
She will call him Sol.
Sol we call to thee.

Come bring your golden rays of day to light our way.
The Moon bears a son.
The Moon bears the Sun.
The night gives reign to the day.

The Moon bears the Sun.
The Moon bears the Sun.
The night gives reign to the day

The Light is Restored

Top
Backstory

I walked into a wooded glen upon the Solstice eve,
a prayer to the Lady-her birthing pains relieved.
And unto her newborn son this solemn vow I took,
that ne’er my faith in his mother would be shook.

Chorus:
Call unto the Lady,
Call Unto the Lord.
For as the morrow’s dawn breaks the light is restored.

I did walk into my home, a Yule log to light.
A prayer to the Lord to end all our plight.
For the sun is born anew in the morrow’s song,
and through the power of the Lord there is a sacred calm.

Chorus:
Call unto the Lady.
Call Unto the Lord.
For as the morrow’s dawn breaks the light is restored.
Yes, as the morrow’s dawn breaks the light is restored.

The Lady she was fair of face.
Her Lord was big and strong.
The Lady and The Lord did dance all Beltane long.
The Earth did provide the bed where she did conceive
the joy that we sing of on the Solstice eve.

Chorus:
Call unto the Lady.
Call Unto the Lord.
For as the morrow’s dawn breaks the light is restored.
Yes, as the morrow’s dawn breaks the light is restored.
As the morrow’s dawn breaks, the light is restored, hey!

Sing Ye All

Top

I feel the weight of the longest night.
Full is her burden to birth the light.
Warmth grows thin and emotions run high,
yet with faith, I feel Solstice come nigh.

Chorus:
Sing ye hearts so full and gay.
Sing forth the King who rules the day.
In yonder forest, atop yonder trees,
sing ye all.  Sing with me.

I see the moon fading in the west.
Families gathered, dressed their best.
Gifts have been given and toasts have begun.
All awaiting the Glorious Sun.

Chorus:
Sing ye hearts so full and gay.
Sing forth the King who rules the day.
In yonder forest, atop yonder trees,
sing ye all.  Sing with me.

On the horizon the Lord shows his face.
Newly born and full of grace.
Shining on creatures both man and beast.
Seeing no difference in race, color, creed.

Chorus:
Sing ye hearts so full and gay.
Sing forth the King who rules the day.
In yonder forest, atop yonder trees ,
sing ye all.  Sing with me. (Repeat 3 times)

He is her consort, strong and proud.
He is the love at the side of the Goddess.
Sing his praises long and loud.

He is the seed in the womb of the Goddess.
He is the corn standing tall.

heading to the witch’s call.

He is the bloom at the breast of the Goddess.
He is the rose thorn intact.

The Sacrifice you can’t take back.
