Rev. Llalla Shahar was born Sabrina Blanchard in Hanover, NH. Raised between Bethel, VT and Savannah, Georgia she has practiced Paganism on the beach along the womb of the Great Mother and atop the rolling hills of her body since 1987. Ordained by the Universal Light Church in 1991. Rev. Shahar grew her ministry and her love of the Gods and creating tradition with rituals that were family based. She started writing songs of worship and praise to the Gods to raise her son by in a pantheistic tradition. Her initiation onto the path of the Gods was recognized and received by the Gods Hera and Zeus, and was attended by the guardians: deer, skunk and beaver. Her second degree was confirmed by the Goddess Gia on the event of the birthing of her son and student in November of 1993 and was attended by the guardians: spider and black cat. Receiving her 3rd Degree Initiation in May of 2000, she accepted the name Llalla Shahar and her role as High Priestess of Cold Birch Grove, in Braintree, VT. Rev. Shahar has been a member of Laurelin Community, a broad based pagan community in Bethel, VT for over 15 years. She has performed duties as Gate Steward, Child Tent Coordinator,Children’s Bardic Circle Organizer, and is now looking forward to being the first Labyrinthe caretaker and future on-site facilitator. Rev. Shahar is also pursuing a journey through the world of medicine by becoming a Licensed Nursing Assistant. Rev. Shahar created Blue Chick Productions in 2008 to be an umbrella organization for her creative endeavors, and was gifted the Blue Jay and an Elephant as guardians. She has completed her first pagan music album as the lead singer of ACAPAGANA. In BibliahOctavahSacradah Vol. 1 (Copyright 2009) She invites the public to join in sacred space and sing along with her and her first guest, and son, Phoenix Bizon-Blanchard.
